Okay...I was watching Entertainment Tonight(yeah, I'm that cool), and they were showing a preview for some movie with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, and Ball and Chain was playing during the entire preview...I hope Social D is getting paid big bucks for this.

Hey, I'm all for spreading the gospel of Social Distortion - even if it is a movie with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. All the better. More people hear good tunes and maybe, just maybe go out and buy an album or two and chnge their musical tastes. A stretch, but possible.

It's not the first time a Social D. song has been heard in a movie. Story of my life has been in that crappy ass Wynonna Ryder, Ethan Hawke, Ben Stiller movie. Reality Bites. Also SOMY has been in Orange COunty, the movie w/ Tom Hanks son and Jack Black. It's defiantly not going to hurt S.D any. Infact, I'm sure they get paid reeeeeaaaaaal good for it.

I know I'd take the dough for them to use a song of mine in a movie. I doubt there is anyone on this board that would'nt.

In "Life or Something Like it" Angelina Jolie was listening to "Story of My Life" (from Live at the Roxy). It wasn't background music, she was in her bedroom or something listening to the CD.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Yeah, I remember that. Still, Angelina Jolie, dancing around in nothing but a Social D t-shirt, couldn't save that shitty movie.
